Oceanwalker Vanuatu brings you this exciting and innovative tourism experience, allowing you to explore the underwater world of tropical fish and coral reefs up close, with-out even getting your head wet. The Helmet Dive is the next step after snorkelling and is a fun way to discover what lies beneath.
Your adventure in paradise starts with a short walk down a ramp into the water where the purpose built helmet is lowered on to your shoulders and in no time at all your underwater experience begins spending up to 20 minutes walking on the sea floor to a maximum depth of 4 meters.
How Oceanwalker Works:
The MK11 Observation Helmet was designed by Oceanwalker International in Australia. It is an Underwater Observation Helmet air fed from the surface from either a compressor or compressed air tanks. The air delivery is controlled by a panel operated from the surface. The Oceanwalker Helmet has 360 degrees of non distorted vision and rather than swimming underwater the participant walks along the sea floor. The System works with two trained PADI Divers in the water and six Participant Helmets. The Helmets are air fed from the rear of the unit, and due to the patented design of the system the Helmet does not “fog up” whilst in use.
